Welcome. This website was created out of frustration at trying many FREE video converter tools and countless paid ones that failed to live up to their over hyped expectations. What we wanted was a tool that would handle all our digital video conversion needs allowing us to take advantage of many hardware platforms. Sony PSP, iPod, DVD to name but a few.
We also wanted a product that would allow us to “try before you buy” and was simple to use. Completely by chance, we stumbled upon AVS and haven’t looked back since.

Sure you can download FREE video converters to do the job but in our experience water torture would be a preferable experience.
